As it is known, Japanese firework are spherical in shape. They shoot up in the sky in a very regular sphere shape that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world. General characteristics are as follows:
(1) Spherical (round) shape. All fires form a regular round formation.
(2) The color of fires changes. Star is set in layers, so the color can be changed into any other color.
(3) There is a core. Inside a big tube there is a small one (a core), and it can be multiplied so the firework would have 3 or 4 cores.

A2
The difference is in the length of time spend to prepare each shot. Japanese firework are called “starry” meaning there are there are 3 or 4 layers of star so when it is shot the firework spreads while changing the color. There is no such complicated structure in Chinese fireworks, so they give only one color at a time. Color changing of fireworks also shows Japanese high technique. Japan-made fireworks are admired all over the world for their safety and high quality.
