  • The 83rd Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition has been held on Saturday October 4th, 2014.

The selected 56fireworks companies, from all over Japan, displayed their best artwork in the sky.

Among them, our fireworks, titled as “ BONSAI designed by a genius (TENSAI)”, has received the 2nd PRIZE in the creative fireworks categoly !!

As you may know, BONSAI means “ a miniature tree planted in a small pot”, and is one of Japan’s traditional culture followed by hundreds of years.

And HOKURIKU KAKO created the traditional BONSAI by another traditional art, HANABI (Japanese fireworks).

In addition, we also won the 5th place in size 10 shell (12-inch shell) among the 45participants. The title is “Golden Palm to flying bees with glittering core and rising small flowers”. And it beautifully displayed the trio of light, sound and changes.

We will keep improving our techniques, in order to introduce the beauty of Japanese fireworks.
